An operating system for the school day.

S.O.S. turns a student's own phone into a school-managed learning device during class, then returns it to a fully private phone the moment the bell rings. No school hardware. No surveillance. No confiscation.

The challenge

Schools fight phones with confiscation bins and hardware carts. S.O.S. needed a working demonstration, a credible public face, and a path to federal funding, all at the same time.

The approach

We shipped a live MVP with a working session engine, a public site that speaks to districts and grant reviewers in the same breath, and a team command center for the people running it. Then we prepared the federal path: an SBIR Phase I application built around the working product.

The outcome

  • Working MVP live and demonstrable in any browser
  • Public surface live at scholasticos.app
  • Team command center live at admin.scholasticos.app
  • $250K federal SBIR application path prepared with the working MVP as evidence
