One unbroken take. Nine worlds. No scroll bar.

Get Me Shane is Shane's personal hub, built as The Crossing: a single unbroken two-minute-sixteen-second swim through nine worlds, driven by travel position instead of scroll, ending in a working way to actually reach him.

01 / The challenge

A personal-brand site is easy to make and easy to forget. This one had to hold attention for over two minutes straight with no scroll bar to lean on, and still end in a real way to get in touch, not a slide deck about the guy.

02 / The approach

We built nine sequential worlds driven entirely by travel position, wired a working mailbox (a real database-backed message form, not a mailto link) directly into the experience, and wove in real moments from Shane's own story, his cardiac arrest and recovery included, instead of stock footage.

What made it
into the world.

  • Nine worlds in one unbroken 2:16 take, no page scroll
  • A working mailbox: messages land in a database, not a mailto link
  • Consent-aware tracking built directly into the film
  • Doubles as the live directory for every other Omniscient Systems property
